How to store wine?

What is Marestel?

Marestel is an appellation of the Roussette grape variety, grown on a particular slope in Jongieux, over a few hectares. Its exposure and soil nature allow for an exceptional taste.

Which wine goes with melted cheese dishes?

Sorry, there is no obvious answer to this question! All our wines suit fondues, raclettes, and tartiflettes. The Jacquère is the safe choice for your fondue. But you can also try the Mondeuse (not for the recipe, but to accompany)!

How is the vine planted?

Our vines are planted following the natural slopes of the mountains and valleys. This orientation prevents soil erosion, ensures good drainage, and facilitates mechanical work. By respecting the terrain's topography, we optimize sunlight and water management while guaranteeing quality harvests.

How is the harvest done?

The harvest is done manually, with the help of our seasonal teams who return each year. These experienced workers know the estate well and the warm atmosphere, which contributes to making each harvest a moment of sharing and quality.

How is weeding done?

Weeding is done manually, using hoes and tools to scrape the soil, without chemicals. This method limits grass competition that could absorb water needed by the vines, while staying natural and environmentally friendly. We favor simple but effective practices to preserve soil health and the quality of our grapes.
