Gamay has been cultivated on the sunny slopes of Jongieux for several generations. This expressive grape variety produces a wine of pleasure, faithful to Savoyard traditions.

A light, fruity red like our Jongieux Rouge Gamay: its silky tannins and freshness don't overpower the cheese. For more character, try the Mondeuse. And if you prefer to stick with white, Jongieux Blanc Jacquère is the traditional pairing.
Yes, lightly chilled, around 13 to 15 °C. This coolness brings out its strawberry and raspberry aromas.
Our 4 hectares of Gamay are harvested by hand, with the bunches sorted according to the weather and the quality of the grapes. The grapes ferment for 7 days in vats before being pressed. We intervene as little as possible to preserve the fruit.
It is best enjoyed within 1 to 3 years to make the most of its fruit and lightness. For a red wine to age, choose the Mondeuse Cuvée Matè instead.
