Frequently asked questions
It is a Savoie white wine made from the Altesse grape, which legend says was brought to the region in 1432 by the Count of Marest on his return from a crusade in Cyprus. Its bunches turn a russet-brown colour at the end of ripening, hence the name "Roussette". We grow it on 1.6 hectares in Jongieux.
